As you can see, I stayed where I was for the first target and moved over one in the second. This afternoon, I learned how to add multiple things to an assignment and how to choose the appropriate permissions for each. Here's one with a picture that students can only view and a doc that they each get a copy of:
I also learned how to decide whether students get to make comments and posts in a class. It's in the Students tab, here:
What I need to move forward tomorrow is brainstorming with the other math & science teachers about how we can use Classroom for these subjects. Here are some questions I have:
- Do we put all our assignments on Classroom, even ones that don't have something digital to turn in?
- Does it matter that it will mark them as late/not done unless students go through the extra step of clicking "Done"?
- Do we still do our weekly assignment sheets?
Other questions I have:
- Is there a way to manually sort the order in which assignments appear? Or do we have to think about the order they will appear before we post them?
