I'm feeling confident about creating basic assignments in Google Classroom. I'm excited about how user-friendly this format is (in comparison to Moodle and others) and have set up two classes (only one w/ students).
Things I learned today:
How to take a screenshot and add it to a blog post
How to add assignments to GC, including documents from the drive, links, etc.
How to save an assignment as a draft
How to give students permission to comment
How to make oral comments on GD (love it!)
How to change the themes in Google Form; and an overall reminder of using Forms.
Here's some "evidence":
More practice, perhaps.
Some discussion/brainstorming--how are others planning to use tech this year?
See Alexandra's Questions. . .
See Eric's Question too
I'd love to figure out how students can create a video and submit it as a response instead of writing--and to be able to leave them instructions for how to do this.
How will we teach students how to use Google Classroom--is this done in each class, in advisory, in orientation?
